Hi there,
Im in deep trouble here. I was doing a migration of approx 700 users from one domain to another with a transitive trust og suddenly after 500 users the migration seemed to hang and i decided to stop it. now I have this event id 16645 and I cannot get trust up again and I am unable to create users anymore. it seemes that my server which is the root server having all FSMO roles are unable to renew its SID pool from itself, Ive read that it should be the RID master role that does it, but how come I have a problem when the server has all fsmo´s ?? I have other DC´s in the domain so I will try to move the RID master and see if that fixes it but if anyone have any other suggestions to this Id be very happy!!
Ive checked out the Q325700 at MS suggestion me to point the ADMA to the RID master but the server here is the F*** RID master!!
) also I dont know anything about the ADMA and couldnt find more info on this so If anyone have info on how to use ADMA id be happy again
) !!
thanks for you time....
rgds,
Lars
