migration from 2000 to 2003 server

Ive got a Win2k domain with two DC's. We've been installing 2003 server on new servers that are being made member servers, but we have not created any 2003 DC's. Would it be a good idea to set up a 2003 server and promote it to a DC? can i run with 2000 and 2003 server DCs? are there any dangers to moving all the DC's to 2003?

u need to adprep/forestprep and domainprep first before u throw in any 2k3 DC into 2k AD.

check adprep webiste at Microsoft.

thanks, ive been looking at some of that stuff, there's a LOT of it out there.. im hoping to find somebody who has gone through it, who can give me any tips or gotchas that they experienced...
