Hello peeps,

We've recently bought a new server which will primarily be used for FTP using IIS. Since it's new piece of kit, we've decided to use Win2k instead of the old NT 4.0.

I was wondering if there are any utilities for exporting the local user accounts (the FTP server is not part of a domain) and also the virtual FTP directories that we've created within IIS itself to the win2k server.

The new server will also not be a domain member.

We have over 100 user accounts and virtual directories and I'd rather not have to re-create them by hand.

Any help will be appreciated :)

TIA,

Kris.

For setting up the Virtual directories in IIS you can use MetaEdit2.2 from Microsoft. You have to copy the data across and keep the directory structure, but it save time not having to recreate all the Virtual Directories.
