migrating from Novell - users and home folders

We have managed to import users ok, we are now trying to copy over their home directories and give the path to them in the profile tab of the users properties. We can copy the data but when we try and set the home folder path we get a message saying 'the %1 home folder
was not created because you do not have create access on the server' Anyone know what is the problem?
 
Have you checked the share permissions? This is worth a check to start, by default they are read only for everyone on 2003 server.

 
Yes.. The problem is that you must have administrative rights on the root of the home folders.

For example:

f:\Users

f:\Users\Bob
f:\Users\Sara
f:\Users\Ricky

You need to make sure that you (as the administrator) have access to the f:\Users directory and SHARE.
