Migrating Exchange 2000 to 2003 question

Hi,

We are in the process of migrating our Exchange server from a Windows 2000 server running Exchange 2000 to a server running Windows 2003 server and Exchange 2003.

I have seen lots of posts relating to problems with migrating exchange and mailboxes. The question I have is, has anybody had any issues (once the exchange server has been install and configured in the same domain and in the same admin group) with the clients accessing the new email server when logging on for the first time? Do we need to change our login script or change anything to do with the profile, so that when the clients log in for the first time they are connected to the new exchange server and they can send and receive emails OK.

Thanks

If you have the XC servers in the same admin group then Outlook should automatically point itself to the new server.
