Migrating Data from one table to another

I would like to migrate data from several tables in one database to another database tables. The newer database does not have all the fields that the older table has and it has fields that the older table does not have. How would I construct an SQL Statement to do this?

I would use DTS pacakages and transformations for this.

I thought about that. I have used DTS before but since I am not really a developer what I have learned, I have forgotten, since I do not use it that much. I will try it. Probably you will be seing questions about DTS soon
