Hey yall,
I am not terribly technical when it comes to Exchange, so bear with me.... I have a customer who has a box running exchange 2000. This box is on domain "A". he wants to move 45 mailboxes to a box running Exchange 2003. This box is on domain "B". Why the 2 different domains... I don't know. Neither of these boxes are DC's. The Exchange migration wizard will not work across dissimilar domains, and I don't know the right way to do this. I know this is wierd, but does anyone have an idea? What happends if I change the domain membership of the 2000 box? Can I "copy" and "paste" the edb and stm files from 2000 to 2003? I'm lost... and feeling very dumb.

For that few mailboxes, I'm inclined to say that you should exmerge the mail out of the one server, and into the other.

How to configure an account to use the ExMerge utility in Exchange 2000 Server and in Exchange Server 2003
