can someone tell me how to dial into a system with a MIFM card. i am totally clueless so please try to be as specific as possible.

The MIFM card should be inserted into slots 1 or 2 for the modem to work. Also the extn number for the modem cannot be used or programmed anywhere else within the system except for memory block 1-8-38 and if you use DID tables
(1-1-22) make sure it is programmed there as well for day and night. If the MIFM card is also used for local/serial connection, make sure that you are not currently connected while trying to dial in or you will find that the modem rings out. One last thing, you cannot dial the modem number via an internal extn or SLT as you will get error/busy.

Am I to assume it is impossible to dial in via Auto Attendant givin what you have said above? was wondering why I cant get into any of our switches.
If this is the case then here would be my work around:
Get a SLT Adaptor or available SLT port off a card if installed and have it go out of the SLT port into an available C.O. port.......????

VMAIL
And if you want to really get fancy put an ATX (line share device) on the SLT port and have one port off the ATX go to the C.O. port on KSU and another ATX port go to the Vmail Modem.....?
Never tried it and have always wanted to.....just something I thought of a few years ago.

Cheers
