Are these systems compatible - (the doc says yes)

It wouldnt boot up - N* sees port A as STK, portB as none
The flash4 (rel2.0) is good - it boots on MICS6.1

Is there anything special to do for a MICS2.0?
Thanks as always.

It should work. Did you do F903 first to activate the F980-F989 codes? If so, try connecting the serial port of the Flash to a PC running Hyperterminal to see where the boot up process is failing. 1200 baud 8-N-1

thanks for the reply exsmogger ...

F903 is inactive ...so is F983
I did a reinstall on the 6.1, and then moved to the 2.0

I'm going to try different ports ...or something

Try going into F**XFTEST, password = config password. Remove all the inactive feature codes, then reboot the Flash. I have to do this on my test system as I am always testing and resetting different voicemails.

Nope he must have atleast 4.0 MICS software to work with 2.0 Startalk Flash. He needs 1.7 or lower to work properly. I had the same problem and ITAS told me that there were many bugs with older releases of MICS software and the newer releases of FLASH software above 1.7.
