MICS 7.1 s/w, two DTI cards, PRI enabler, all outgoing calls go out PRI-B and incoming calls on PRI-A. How does the system know to use PRI-A if all 23 channels are busy on PRI-B? Thanks.
most likely your carrier is set up for whats called accend, meaning come in on channel 001 and hunt downward. and your outgoing calls are set up for decend working from the bottom up.
If your talking outgoing calls you need to make all 46 channels in one pool so when the back 23 are in use it starts using the lower 23.thecoming is correct for in coming the Telco needs to make that work.
Like Rik said if you have them set as A & B then it will not roll over on outbound calls. You'll get the NO FREE LINES if PRI-B is full. Inbound the carrier takes care of the roll over.
