Have a customer with an MICS running XC 6.1 and a PRI. The cabinet blew yesterday in a storm, it's the main cabinet not the power supply.

I wad undr the impression the the PRI codes were tied to the cabinet, however another tech. mentioned they thought the PRI codes were actually tied to the software cartridge/PCMCIA software card. He went on the say theat simply moving the cartridge/software and all the customer cards into another cabinet would bring them back up.

Can someone please verify which theory is correct.

Thanks,

Dave

PRI codes reside in the software cartridge but are tied to the serial number of the MICS cabinet. By bringing over the software and enclsure into the new cabinet that has a sifferent serial number the PRI codes will not work. You need to call Nortel and get them reissued.
