MICS buttons not programming

I have a mics that is not allowing me to program some of the speed dial buttons for external speed dial. which buttons change each time I replace the phone. It's really screwy as to which ones and on which type of phone.

how are you programming - is it using Feature * 1
or ubder button programming?

it doesn't matter.
using feature *1. when you press OK. it just drops back to date and time.

under programming. it won't even accept the OK

Feature *1 does that ... it just goes back to date and time.
what version of MICS do you have
are u using a 7310/ 7324? what release.
let me poke around and see if there are any documented problems
