MICS 4.0 w/ NAM 4.0

Able to connect with ksu (MICS 4.0) Unable to connect with Applications Module( 8 Port VMail V4.0). Can any one help out. TIA
P.S.: I have NVR 4. Just can't figure how to connect.

are you asking how to connect the NAM to the MICS?
What is NVR4?

If the KSU is not seeing the Applications Module I can suggest two things, One is make sure the port itself is good by plugging in a digital phone, with that done and presumed working you may have to re-boot the Application Module anywhere from 1-2 to a dozen times, (letting it completely re-boot each time ) if after doing that and you still it still doesn't go I would question either the line Cord going in the Application Module or what port on the module itself you are plugging it into.

If this is a fibre NAM you need an expansion module in the MICS to connect it.

I'm sorry, I mean I am trying to connect to it using norstar remote utilities so i can view programing. i is a working system i just can't figure out how to connect using the software. TIA

NAM programming is done through a network adapter using NVM utilities that come on the NAM Cd. Not NRU

You NAM may not even have one

you can also get in using a null modem cable to the serial port and the NVM manager s/w.
