I had to use my recovery disk recently and now I can't get my microsoft works to work. I can't even reinstall it, I get this message; Set up could not move Calendar filec:\Programfiles\mswkscal.wed
and when I try to uninstall it I get this message; uninstall disabled.
Any ideas? I don't know where to start.

Sounds like the boot disk could have restored your registry to a time and place before you installed that program, whose .exe's are now looking at the registry and saying '????what????' (in a manner of speaking)

what OS are you using? (I'm guessing '98 ME or 2000 right?)
If you can't re-install the program and you don't feel like manually keying the registry, (type regedt32 on the cmd line) you might have no choice but to rip the program out by it's neck (use delete) but thats really the last resort isn't it...

I'm fairly sure this is an accurate answer, but if anyone agrees or disagrees pls let us know below
for pint$ = 1 to 20
for pint$ = pint$ + 1
if pint$ = 20 goto HOME
next pint$
