Occasionally when using spell checker in MS Word (Office 2000), a HELP advisory appears noting the spelling is correct except for the section I marked to not check spelling (or writing to that effect). I think the situation occurs when spelling identifies a word it doesn't recognize and I select ignore, and then at a later time I request a recheck of spelling. But I am not sure since it doesn't consistantly do it. However, when I check spelling again in the document, the HELP advisory reports: "The spelling check is complete. Text marked with do not check spelling or grammar is not checked".
My question is: How can I determine what text is marked with "do not check spelling or grammar"? I don't do anything overt that I know of except possibly select ignore when spell check is working. This problem occurs in text existing in several pages, so I am concerned as to how much text is being skipped by spell check.
