Microsoft word forms-using vb 2

I have a form in word-which I use a form from VB to fill it out-is there a way to insert a symbol (a hand pointer) in a specific location on the word document-when a user checks off a checkbox or option button on the vb form? if yes, how would I go about it-referencing the line, and place location-and the specific symbol to enter?

You might look at wingdings as a font Uppercase E,F,G or H should give you what you want. You could place a form field on the word doc where you want the hand symbol to appears and set the field's font to wingding and the field's result to the appropriate letter.
