Microsoft Word 93/95 Mail Merge issue

Hello,

When merging data from a spreadsheet, it appears on the mergefield in a letter in the wrong format. It is correct on the spreadsheet. I have read everything about switches and do not understand it. Please can someone tell me how to format a date so it does not read mm/dd/yy but reads dd mmmm yy - thanks

click in the date field that its highlited, right click, choose change or alter field (in german feld bearbeiten), in the opening window u can set it.

Sorry this option is not available when I right click on the merge field in the document. We have 'edit field' but nothing else.......
