Anybody visited recently -
It used to allow you to select o/s and then displayed list of patches you could download. Now its just a search box, which doesn't obviously allow the same functionality. Being busy with several other things, wondered if there's still access to old site and/or clever way of using the search that anybody's come across.

It looks like all it does is a text search against the patch file descriptions. I typed in "Windows XP" and it came up with a number of patches. On the list, you can click the header you're interested in and it will sort the list according to that. For example, clicking on "Last Updated" made it so the most recent patches appeared first.
I then clicked on "View Basket" and from there it gave me the option to download them.

No problems really and much better than the old site, IMO.

I just downloaded 4 Windows patches okay. I tried typing in some other search terms. It seems to support locating any kind of patch/update that Microsoft has put out. I located Microsoft Office things by typing "Office" in it, and the Virtual PC patch by typing that (I downloaded that as well).

thanks Glenn - not as bad as I thought! (I should have spent a little time checking it out, as you did)
