My previous thread of yesterday outlined the fact that ALL my Access 2000 databases involuntary close down when I open them individually and perform a simple button click or look at a report or in fact do anything. This also occurs more sporadically in Word. Could this be anything to do with Explorer performing an illegal function ?
My Access databases are fairly crucial to me and quite large, yet I cannot at present update them because of this fault. Consequently I am desperate for some help.
Can anyone please help ?

Thank you both for taking the time & trouble to respond.
I'll try both suggestions and let you know how I get on.

Thanks again
