Microsoft Media Player

I can not load a ActiveX control so I can use Microsoft Media Player. When I view my controls the only one I appear to be able to pick is microsoft mediaplayer controls. Can someone advised how I can load the media player object. Perhaps some one could direct me to one so I can just copy and paste.
