but the program does not run in other windows after windows 98.
Not really accurate.
Perhaps your specific Application is not running, but, as can be read about in numerous other postings in this forum area, many other FPD2.0 applications are running and/or can be made to run in later Win OS's.
Perhaps you need to supply us with more specific details of the problems you are encountering and we can better assist you.
Also you can get Visual Foxpro 9 at various places, just do a Google search for:
