Microsoft Access Report Limits

I am creating a 48 page document for a Mortgage office. IE all the home closing documents for a loan. Is there a limit on how many pages I can have with MS-Access. I cant get the report over 21" each page is 8-1/2" x 14" Legal pages.

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but an Access report is set up to produce basically a 1-page layout and you get multiple pages based on how much data is to be printed -- but all pages are basically identical in structure/layout. What you are trying to do is produce 48 pages with different layouts. I would recommend using Word to create a mail-merge document, thus allowing for the 48 unique page layouts in one file, and then use access (or excel) to pull the data from to populate the fields in the word document. It may not be pretty, but it will be prettier than using Access by itself.

TwoOdd is basically right. However, you can add sections and subreports to extend the 21" limit.

Sorry chaps, are you saying a report can only be 21 inches long?

Actually a single section in design view can only be 22". A report can be 100s of pages.
