need assistance with credit cards, as it takes 35% than the actual amound so the customers have to wait 48hours to see the correct charge, mant thx
 
Look for the setting in POSCONFIG, SALES, TENDER/MEDIA, CREDIT AUTH.
You should see a tip amount % These settings are set so your servers don't have to do another credit card auth after the customer leaves a tip. There are a couple of ways to set it up.
 
great , what should be the proper setting so to avoid extra calls as now they get instant alerts ..thx
 
The CA Tip% should be set to 0, that's the setting that adds an estimated tip to the credit card auth. The credit card companies ensure tips up to 20% over the meal amount will be paid. Here's the info for Visa. AMEX, MasterCard and Discover have similar policies but I don't have those ones bookmarked.

 
many thx , i adjusted it last night so lets see if the anoying calls will stop....how can I re-print a check from a previos day as in Aloha i could if i had a check nos but cant locate that option in Micros3700

If you have everything printing to your journals your can probably just copy it from there. They'll most likely be in \micros\res\pos\archive for previous days.

If not you can allow picking up previous days' checks.
POS Configurator / System / Restaurant / Options. Uncheck "No edits of previous days checks"
You should have a button on the Pay, Function or Manager screen called Adjust Closed Check. Use that and enter the info fo rth check you want to reprint. When it opens just press Print. That will let you reprint the check without reopening it.
I always leave that option checked and just uncheck it on an as-needed basis.
