MICB upgrade from version 2.09 to 4.0

I have Meridian option 81C release 24 PBX and MICB 2.09 MICB card. I want to upgrade MICB 2.09 to 4.0 so I called vendor and he is saying that nortel is not supporting release 24 PBX. He also saying that it may work or may not work. But if I order the upgrade and if it's don't work he will not return card. Does anybody upgraded MICB in release 24?
