Mfim 300 update 5.5 files 1

Hello,

we have got a used, older callserver ipecs Mfim 300, which should work for us; , it is coming with SW/FW GS 5.0 (HW code 2); can anyone help with update files for 5.5 ; is it correct, that update to 6.0 needs a procedure with a so called override command before?

you cannot jump straight from 5 to 6 . you will need to go to 5.5 first and then go up to 6 .

and yes you are correct

This is done through a telnet session into the system, at the maint prompt type: issue IssueOverride on

have heard about the step of update over 5.5 to 6.0 (with so called yaff files ?) ; would be glad , if you you have both FW/SW/Kernel for 5.5./6.0 and - may be -a short discribtion;
coming myself from Ericsson businessphone (in Germany) new to LG, not so much experience in lg ipecs;

have read and found more advices now for procedure ; is it possible for you, to leave files over a ExpireBox link; get help in former times from member xs 650 here the same way ; at this time , thank you both .
