Does it work with the 9.2 client, or should I use the 8.1.6

I've installed the 8.1.7 client, and that's ok, I'm also looking at installing 9.1 soon!

9i (9.0.1) is fine. 8.1.7 seems better than 8.1.6, but either can be used. I've used all 3 - and the 9i seems to work best (easiest to configure!).
