Hi I am having a problem were messages with attachments stay in the "OUTBOX".
We are using Exchange 5.5 SP3 on a Win2000 server. It is a Dell 2GIG server with 2GIG of RAM also. The client PC's are using Outlook 2000 and the OS is Win2000.
Problem: We are having a problem were messages that contain attachments and are sent to an external address are not being sent. They just remain in the "OUTBOX" of Outlook. We can send email with attachments internally without any problems but as soon as we try and send email to an external address the message just remains in the "OUTBOX". Messages without attachments send just fine both internally and externally. Also there is one other thing that I would like to point out. If I open the message that I am trying to send in the "OUTBOX" and hit send while the message resides in the "OUTBOX" it sends. This is baffling. This is happening with ALL MAILBOXES old and new.
I am not too sure why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...SOKO
