Messages Disappear 1

We are using Outlook 2000 with an Exchange 2000 platform. I have a user who is experiencing an odd error that I hope someone has seen

Whenever this user clicks on a message (preview pane on), then clicks on something else...the message disappears. Similarly, when the user forwards/replies to a message, the original disappears. They're not in the Deleted Items folder nor in the Outbox.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

What do you find under: View, Current View?

That was it! Her view was set to display only unread items, so of course, with the preview pane on, as soon as the message was read it disappeared from view.
