messages are not getting moved to the sent itmes folder

I have a few users that have this problem periodically.

What is happening when they send en email to someone the message will send, but will not get moved from the Outbox to the Sent Items folder. This results in the message being sent again during the next Send\Receive action. Over and over....until I delete the email from the outbox.

This is completely random. It happens to different users sending to different recipients. And it is not every email either.

I am at a complete loss. I have looked around for this issue but cannot find anything. I am not even sure if this is a client side or server side issue.

Any info on this would be great.

Have you tried right-clicking in the pane displaying the folder (Outbox) and checking for auto-formatting or filters that could have been applied accidentally? ~Gayle
