Messagebox beep

Other than defining my own msgbox class, is there any way to turn off the beep when messagebox() is called? Thanks.

Hi Have you tried..
SET BELL OFF
or

SET BELL TO 'C:\WINDOWS\DING.WAV'
The wav file is an example. But you can set that to some not so annoying sound wave file. ramani

For just your application - no. System wide, you could go and reset the file named under system sounds for the various sounds to nothing. However this is normally considered unaceptable by most users that have configured their system the way THEY want it.
