Message notification to your cell phone, pager or home phone 1

I have an extension that I want to notify a cell phone of a message. I have directions on how to accomplish this using feature 981. Here is the problem....the only option on this particular phone is to notify an extension. I cannot delete it, insert, select another destination. My only options are Change the extension and Next. Next brings up the Start and Stop time. Does anyone know how to fix this?

you need to go into feature 983 , mailbox, change, go to outdial and set it for pool.

until the mailbox is allowed to dial out (outdial) it cannot do any notifications outside the system.

I didn't use pool because Norstar asked for a pool #. We have 32 loop trunks that are pool lines, that are Pool B, Pool C, Pool E, Pool G etc.....

I went back to a mailbox that our original vendor/programmer setup and he used route. Will that work?

Yes, since the route table is already set-up you should have no problem.
