I am setting up message manager for a client and I am getting a INVALID ARGUMENT when I try to connect to the intuity lx via message manager. I can connect to the intuity box via http port 80 but message manager will not work. Any ideas?
INVALID ARGUMENT can mean many different things. Do you have IMAPI sessions turned on in "change systems-parameters imapi" set it to the maximum limit then reboot the voice-service. Next thing to look at is "change machine local" you have a extension range, make sure you don't have anything in the Prefix. Just finished installing the LX with internet messaging works great. Only thing I don't like is I cannot change most of the voice services remotely unless I set-up an ras connection on another computer and login through the http screen. Hope this helps.
I have everything setup as you mentioned. Do you have imapi tcp/ip port to 55000? Any other settings that you can think of that might need to be changed.
Can't think of any thing at the moment other that reboot system, then check alarm log. The problem is I can't check some of the settings remotely, but I will reply if I can remember anything.
I found out that the Intuity Audix LX machine has a bug in the Avaya code. If I did a list address range it showed blank fields. In order to populate that field I had to change machine ext 'any' and change extension range to anything. Then go back and change the extension ranges to the correct range ie; 000-999. This was verified by Avaya and could be potentially be wrong with all Intuity LX machines.
