Message Indicator

Hi All!

I have a DN (5132) that is assigned only as a key pickup on ext 5047. Ext 5047 has her own mailbox. The customer wants 5132 to be a separate mailbox. How can I put some kind of key indicator so the user (5047) can tell which voice mail has a message.

You can put a RMWK (Remote Message Waiting Key) on the phone. It is programmed like this:

RMWK xxxx yyyy

Where xxxx is the Message waiting center DN, and yyyy is the DN (5132) being monitored.

I tried both XMWK and RMWK, the system does not take the code. I am running Rls 23.55, do I need anything in CLS?

Two things:

John is right, it should be the XMWK.

I think you need an appearance (SCN 5132) on the phone as well as the XMWK xxxx 5132.I checked and that is how my 3904 is programmed.

Unfortunatly, this is a Release 24 feature, so it will not work on your system.
