You need a patch for clipper.
Have a look at - support and search for clipper.
They have all the supportfiles ready for download.
Regarding Blinker 3 -- only Blinker 7 supports Windows XP and Windows 2000 without any problems.
If you want to continue using blinker upgrade to version 7.
