Merlin Magix system

DID range xxx-xxx-x200 thru x212

My experience with Magix is limited. Much more Partner, S8800, Prologix, IP Office

Using WinSPM to program. Theu have no console phone.

Customer has 2 phones at the front desk used as operators. Ext 200 amd 218.

They bought another company and wanted to have the new company's main number ring on a DID.
The available DID is ext 207.

They want all those calls to ring at Extension 218.
218 is not a DID....couldn't be that easy.

So I started with a call Fwd of 207 to 218. Works fine except calls go back to the vm box for 207. I couldn't find a wst to assign a button on ext 218 to be a MWI for 207.

So, is there a way in the Dial Plan to tell the system to divert calls to DID 207 to go directly to 218 amd get around the vm issue?

Thanks.

Use the PRI routing table to expect 3 digits, match 207, delete 3, add 218.

Excellent!! Just what I needed. Thank you TouchToneTommy.

Just thought of something....

There are 16 tables(0-15), one for each different setup.

So all the Stations (200-206, 208-212)just need to delete 7 digits and leave the last 3

Station 207 needs to strip all 10 and add 218.

I suspect Table 1 is used for deleting 7, leaving 3

So my process would be as follows:
Remove 207 from Table 1...not sure how to do that
Create Table 2
Set the Service
Expected Digits = 10
Pattern = 555-768-1207
Digits to Delete = 10
Digits to add = 218

Is that all correct?
How do I remove 207 from Table 1?

Thank you.

Just do the thing that Tom said, the system, when it makes it's Routing Decisions, looks a ALL Tables before it decides how to route the call. So, you can set 207 up in it's own little table.
