Meridian Mail

Hi Guys,

Option 61 with mail, customer reports that voice mails from external numbers, the meridian mail will say something like "message one from an unknown number". Internal voice mails report correctly i.e "message one from extension 4567". The customer has incomming caller ID and DDI's. Is this a programming issue on the mail? If so can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you can see Caller ID on incoming calls to display phones and Meridian Mail is not too ancient that it does not have Caller ID capability, then...

Log in to the MerMail terminal

>> Main Menu >> General Administration >> Dialing Translations >> Dialing Translation Defaults >> Capture CLID with Unknown Format (Set this to YES)
