Has anyone figured out how to migrate the voice service recordings such as announcements and menu greetings/choices.
I am in the process of migrating a MM which has ~100 Menu Services as well as numerous Announcements.
Customer is not happy at the prospect of re-recording all greetings.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You can migrate the recordings, but you cannot migrate the menu itself. Each recording within a menu will be migrated over as its own separate application. Then you have to rebuild the menu in a new application. Then go to each of the "mini" applications, go to Define (on the top bar) and choose Voice Items. You'll see your recording in that. You can choose to copy it. Then on your new application, you can go to Define and choose to Paste it. Once they are all in your new application, you can link them to the appropriate Announcement block or whatever. It is a royal pain in the A##@. Not to mention time consuming.

When I go to to the "Define/Voice Items" I only see Voice1 to choose from. It doesn't seem to matter what migrated service I bring up or which component I have highlighted.

Are we missing something in the migration process? Did we leave something unselected that should have been selected?

Thanks for your help thus far, but I'm still trying to find the migrated recordings.

You will only see the 1 voice item in each application. Imagine that you have a menu with the general greeting, a prompt (delay) greeting, and an announcement recorded on 1, 2, 3, and 4. That will migrate as 6 applications...1 for each recording. If you really need those recordings, you'll need to go to each one of those 6 applications and copy the voice item in each one to your new application. Then link each one to the appropriate block.
