Meridian Mail Rls 13 and distribution lists

Has anyone used distribution lists. Trying to find an easy way to send a message to a large number of users (but not all, therfore no broadcast) but looks like each distribution list needs to be created and maintained manually. Any ideas how this can be automated, such as file importing?

I know of no such possibility in Mermail. We have a few distribution lists, and they are ALL maintained manually.

yeah, I figured this would be the answer. Hoping maybe someone may have created a Procomm script that would read from a file....wishful thinking.

you can use scripts to make large changes in mermail, just record one, then modify it as needed. i don't have mail to test with any more, so i couldn't begain to write one from memory, but it's do-able
