Meridian Mail Question

hello,

is there any settings should be done on the meridian mail system to allow the front office system to activate the message waiting lamp on the guset phone when a written mesage is left at the front desk.

not on the mail, but you can on the pbx with the MIK key if all you want to do is light the lamp and not leave a message

you'll also need a MCK key to turn of the light...

thnx guys for the replies, but actully i have reinstalled the meridian mail system because i replaced the defectred hardisk , before that the when a written msg is left to the guest on the front desk the msg lamp lights and whn the guest chek the mail box he hears " you have on written msg for you "
