Has anyone successfully upgraded a CS1000M with Meridian Mail to Release 7.0 or 7.5?

If so, I'd like to talk to you. Thanks.

Got one working on 3.0, but I think that was the last release that it was supported. Of course doesn't mean that it won't work on later releases but you may have some issues.

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

The last release to officially support MerMail was 5.0. 5.5 went back and forth for a bit, but Nortel finally said they wouldn't support it.

I have MerMail on a 6.0 system, and it works fine, but I just had to back out of a 7.0 upgrade, because the mail station ports just disappeared. It has to do with the loss of support in software for the card density used by the MerMail ports.

I'm interested in finding out if anyone has found a work-around.

I did an IP upgrade to 5.5 and found I couldnt configure an AML or LSL any more, followed by a call to Nortel to ask why CallPilot wasn't included in upgrade. (I've done TDM upgrades to 5.5 and MMail worked fine)

I don't think so.

Since you (Most likely) get a new dongle/site ID you will need a keycode remake for the MMail... And that isn't going to happen.

Best regards,

Marc D.
