Hello Everyone,
We have a Meridian 1 Option 11 PBX with Meridian Mail.
Our system is set that when someone calls our main phone number it gets directly to a choice menu. 2 for HR department, 3 for QA department etc....
I would like to add the key 4 that when it is selected, it would give road instructions on how to get to the facility.
Can someone helkp me with that?

you need to log in mail,go to Voice admin, voice service admin,voice menu definition, highlight the menu you need to change , view modify and make your changes there...
 
I went to that menu,
The key 4 is already programmed to Thru-Dial ID. I would like to change it to Announcement service but it won't let me. The action is set to TS and I would like to change it to AS but I am not able. Is there another place where to change it?

I would like to add a message prompt that indicates the road directions to our offices when calling our main phone number.
How to do that?
is it dial-thru service? Announcement service?
System is Meridian Mail.

I would not touch the thru dial service.
Next avaialbe # put in an AS announcement service. with maint prompt call your AS and record your directions

be careful, that thru dial may be used and it may need to be digit 4.. your on the right path, just try to pick a vacant number for the option then look at the password, (the second one) and your vsdn table for prompt maint to change the recording...
