What is the code you enter on a telephone to assign it an extension on the Definity System?

Each system can have its own number. Look in your CH FEA for this, there will be two of them. One to move off the ext., one to reconnect it. It also might have a pass code. The pass code is under CH SYS FEA page 2.

The merge code in the fac is 24 and the unmerge code is 25. How do you enter that on the phone?

Is there a star or pound sign before it? if so then you hit speaker, get dial tone, enter first fac then (if pass code is used enter that) then the ext number. If done correct you hear a double tone. Beep Beep When you connect a ext. to a phone just use the connect fac then the ext. number. Beep Beep Look!!! New Buttons

If its not working, make sure tti is turned on. An easy way to find out LI CON ALL if you have Ts in the open ports its turned on. If you have Us its not turned on.
