Merge Replication via Firewall

I have 2 SQL 2000 servers. In head office, I setup SQL 2000 and it is behind a firewall. In remote office has 1 SQL 2000 server. No firewall at remote office.

I tried to subscribe the database from Remote office. It failed. Error message is the script cannot propagate to subscriber. In Head office, the database is publish for Merge replication.

At the Firewall, I already open port 1433. There is no problem for remote office to register the Head office SQL under its SQL manager.

Do I need to open other ports for the replication ? What port?

Hope someone can help. Thanks
