We're in the process of updating our PC's and have just discovered an issue with with opening .eml files:
I need to apply the update listed, however for some reason you also need to edit the registry after installing the update ... don't know why the registry entry isn't just included in the MSI.
Anyway, my issue is that the update isn't included in my list of updates in WSUS (maybe it's under a different classification) so I need to deploy this with Active Directory. But because I have to also apply the registry entry, I was wondering if anybody knows of a way to merge the registry file and MSI file together into a new msi file?
Hope all this makes sense? Thanks in advance
