Hello everyone.
I have been attempting to migrate a mail merge application from Word 97 to Word 2000. On my PC the new mail merge works correctly. On the production PC, the merge fields are retaining the extra spaces. Both machines are using the Windows 98 OS and Word 2000. Both systems have current (as of 2/10/03) OS and Word 2000 updates installed. The data source is a comma delimited, fixed field length text file. I am at a loss for an explanation. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
