merdian 2250 console on c1000

I am being thrown in on installing another console on the Nortel c1000. I have never installed a 2250 before let alone worked on a c1000. Is this something I should run from or is it fairly easy?

yes and no....




it's fairly easy to setup, but required a 25 pair Amphenol connection (that 2 pairs are used from)


you would program it in LD12


but since you said "I have never installed a 2250 before let alone worked on a c1000"

than i would say it's difficult if you have never worked on a CS1000

For a novice, I would say, "don't even attempt it!".

Really, your local Nortel vendor is looking for work. Give them a call and they can have in done in 4 hours (including the 25 pair cable) for a nominal fee, and everyone will be happy.
