hi,
in menu, i have define

cut bar # _med_cut
copy bar # _med_copy

ecc...

how to check from a form if this item is enabled or disabled?

I haven't a clue, but I am curious why you need to know. Normally they'd only be available when the cursor (or selected control) can logically support these functions. (Text Box, Edit Box, etc.). And of course if they are in the main menu, they wouldn't be available in a Modal Form.

yes, but i want add in my toolbar, copy, cut and paste button.
now, for enabled or disabled this button i want check in menu item is enabled or not.

That would seem like a lot of overhead to constantly check/change the enabled/disabled status of these buttons with potenitally every move of the mouse or cursor.

Rick,

And of course if they are in the main menu, they wouldn't be available in a Modal Form.

Are you sure about that. I might be wrong, but I thought that Cut, Copy and Paste (plus Clear, Select All and Undo) were available in the Edit menu, even if the form is modal.

Sigh, once again you are right Mike. I was remembering a situation that I got myself into that was similar, but not the same. Thanks for keeping me "honest"! :)
