Hello. I'm new to Dreamweaver and have been having a difficult time importing a Fireworks popup menu into Dreamweaver.

The problem is that the font is very jagged and shows some sporatic white space around the letters when viewed in a browser.

The menu has a transparent background. The background is a gradient rectangle created in Photoshop as a jpeg.

The menu is exported as GIF 216.

Am I missing something? Can you help me with clearing up this font situation?

Thank you,

John

Chris, thank you for the lead. After changing the anti-aliasing I still have the problem. Reviewing the help menu it appears I have a Halo effect. Any suggestions to remove it? Thanks

best advice is not to use gif format

But it really depends on how you are creating the images.

You should ask in the Photoshop forum229 for more specific help.

Chris.
