A server with OS Windows 2000 Prof. and 1 GB internal memory doesn't use the memlimit function in the config.fp.
the setting is MEMLIMIT = 60, 4096, 20480
The first user of the foxpro application uses the internal memory fully!!
In other environments we don't get this problem.

Does anyone recognize this problem?

Regards

I believe all versions of FP (both DOS and Windows) are limited to 16MB, so you might want to try:
MEMLIMIT = 60, 4096, 16384

I don't think that's a problem. In my develop-environment it's shows me a total memory of 20 MB. When I change this value into 16 and restart foxpro, it shows me 16.
Other suggestions?

You never really stated what type and version of FoxPro you are running. e.g. FPD 2.5b, FPW 2.6a, etc. ?

If a DOS version:
How do you start it up? e.g. .BAT, .PIF, .LNK?
Are you explictly using the Extended memory version?
What memory settings are you using?
Are you running it full screen or in a window?

..I have the same problem I am running on windows 2000, and accessing a server but it is too slow I think its because of the memory cause everytime I start Fox Pro the memory meter hits the 90´s. How Can i configure the program for it to work faster?
