I have a Windows 2000 Advanced server that will not boot up. It hangs at the Starting Windows screen. When I try to start in Safe Mode it hangs at the \Winnt\Drivers\MegaSign.sys driver and will not go any further.

I have installed a parallel version of the server and renamed and moved the file and gone into the registry and deleted anything with the MegaSign.sys reference in it but still get the same error when booting up. Any ideas or has anyone seen and fixed this before?
